Former
Azusa City Mayor Eugene F. Moses started the San Gabriel newspaper
on September 1997 as a monthly paper that focuses on features
as well as coverage of local government, arts, entertainment
and sports. In addition, the paper has an editorial section,
which offers a variety of issues and opinions, including
letters to
the editor and guest columns by noted local figures.
Moses
wants to continue participating in the activities in the
communities even after 30 years of service in the San Gabriel
Valley, which included six consecutive terms as mayor of
Azusa. Each issue includes a hard hitting information
piece about political issues affecting the Valley, it also includes
features on people, the arts, and business, with movie and restaurant
reviews as well as colorful news about our seniors and veterans,
the unsung heroes and backbone of our nation. |
